Special Delivery: Spring NUCs for Beekeepers
Every Spring beekeepers all over can supplement their hives through starter hives called NUCs. These are 5-frame temporary hives for bees that get introduced to a larger hive box so that it can expand. Saving the Hive: Combining Hives with a Queen for Survival
Join us for an in depth look at the mechanics of introducing a new queen and bees from a new hive to a non-queen right hive. Bees will continue their work of pollination and gathering honey without a queen for some time but once Winter comes the hive will not survive. Grant Stiles shows us the process of installing new frames with a queen from an observation hive to the queen less one.

We continue taking our Blazin' Honey on the road to get people to try our delicious, local NJ honey infused by the masters at Stiles! The sweet heat goes well on so many foods. We spent the day in Asbury Park and Point Pleasant handing out samples to beachgoers and even interrupted a few lunches and snack breaks to see if we could level up their meals
