Join us for an in depth look at the mechanics of introducing a new queen and bees from a new hive to a non-queen right hive. Bees will continue their work of pollination and gathering honey without a queen for some time but once Winter comes the hive will not survive. Grant Stiles shows us the process of installing new frames with a queen from an observation hive to the queen less one.

We met with the owner Jay who brought us in to the kitchen to see what Chef Santiago could cook up using our honey. The results were a dish that was greater than the sum of its parts, crispy hot honey glazed salmon on a bed of rice and grilled asparagus.

Esker Hart Artisan Ales and Mindful Ales teamed up to collaborate on brewing some beers with honey in them. They looked to Stiles to provide the honey that went in to the beer. The result is a mouth waveringly delicious 6.8% Honey IPA that has notes of bright juicy hops up front and a bitter hop finish of a traditional IPA. Our neighbors over at Fords Pizza in Fords, NJ are introducing a new pizza made with Ol' Stiles Blazin' Honey! They master pizza chef takes us through the steps he takes to create this culinary delight.

Grant Stiles visits Maplewood, NJ to stop by Kitchen Table to see our new friends Alex and Lila. They were gracious enough to host us at their cooking school and show off a recipe for a pork tenderloin with roasted vegetables topped with a Barrel-Aged Honey glaze that was packed with flavor.
